Investec Asset Finance plc has been confirmed as the headline sponsor of the 2019 International Materials Handling Exhibition, or IMHX. This event is the largest UK trade fair delivered for the supply chain and intralogistics sectors.

This year’s trade show will be the second time that Investec has supported the IMHX by being the headline sponsor for the event, as the company took the same role in 2016. The director of the IMHX, Rob Fisher has said that the company is thrilled to be working with Investec again. The supply chain and intralogistics trade fair is a tri-annual event. It is great news for this fair that is known and respected around the world has agreed to be the headline sponsor for an event that is still two years away.

The announcement of this new sponsor is a great boost for IMHX 2019 and represents the unprecedented levels of interest that the event has been able to generate. IMHX is considered to be a flagship event in the materials handling industry and a fair that is essential for the industry’s development. IMHX acts as a champion for the UK’s logistics sector, a vital area of business that is worth £75 billion. The Head of Investec Asset Finance’s Materials Handling Division, Andrew Woodward has said that the company is thrilled to reinforce their long-term commitment to the sector by taking on the role as headline sponsor.

Working with the trade fair will help Investec to get closer to the sector while also getting a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities the logistics and supply chain professionals have to overcome in their day-to-day and longer term operations. By working in this way, the company feels that they are able to tailor their services and ensure that they are more relevant to their clients while also providing better support and help when it is required.
