Yodel has made three new appointments to their leadership team. The independent parcel carrying company has announced that they have made three new appointments in to the senior levels of their company. One of the appointments has been made for a newly made position. It has been said that the new appointments will help the company with streamlining their delivery process and offering its customers a high level of customer service.
Adrian Harris has joined Yodel as their new Operations Director. Harris was formerly a part of Marks & Spencer as the Director for the company’s Clothing and Home Logistics sector. His previous role oversaw the distribution stores as well as the e-commerce section of the Mark & Spencer chain. Before this role, Adrian Harris worked as Director for Amazon Logistics in China as well as Tesco and Home Retail Group. Earlier in his career, Adrian served in the Army as an Officer of the Royal Logistics Corps. Harris served in the Army for 10 years. It is thought that he will be a valuable addition to the Yodel team.
The second appointment is of Lucy Robertson who is the Director of Sort and Transport. Lucy Robertson will be working under Adrian Harris and will be reporting to him in her new role. Robertson has previously worked at Amazon as Head of UK Fulfilment. Lucy has also been the General Manager for Argos where she was working to oversee some of the company’s largest distribution centres.
The third position has been filled by Mike Watkins. Watkins joined Yodel in September last year and has filled the newly created role of Director of Operational Planning. This appointment has come after a successful time as the Interim Director of Sort and Transport during the Christmas period. Before he joined Yodel, Watkins has held senior roles at Marks & Spencer and Asda. While in these roles, Mike worked in end-to-end operational planning.
