Narrow Aisle Ltd has been selected by Crown Paints, who has invested in their fleet with the purchase of seven articulated forklift trucks. Crown Paints, the decoration supplies company have invested in these forklifts to be used at their production facility in Hull. The company has been working from Hull for more than 200 years. At this Hull location the company manufactures more than half of the products they offer.

Narrow Aisle Ltd has been chosen for this investment and will be supplying articulated forklift trucks from their Flexi range. The machines that have been selected to work at the Hull facility for Crown are the Very Narrow Aisle articulated forklifts in order to operate in the space of the Hull facility.

Crown selected The Narrow Aisle Flexi range mainly because of the environmental performance of the Flexi range. Crown is focused on reducing their Greenhouse Gas emissions and aim to cut their emissions by 25% by 2020. This target has been set by the paint company as a part of an initiative to create a greener manufacturing industry.

Selecting Narrow Aisle forklifts further demonstrates the company’s drive to be more efficient.

The new Flexi very narrow aisle forklift trucks have been supplied to Crown on a contract and with a service level agreement. This agreement also includes the planned maintenance, safety inspections and repairs of the vehicles merged into one fixed monthly charge. This agreement makes the investment made by Crown more cost effective, by covering a wide range of maintenance which will keep the forklift truck operating at their most efficient.
