In order to meet the demand of the increasing number of lift truck operators that are undertaking a range of different articulated forklift training courses, Flexi Training Ltd has announced that they have had to increase their training facility to more than double its original size.

Flexi Training Ltd is a division of the Narrow Aisle Ltd company and offers a range of different forklift truck operator training courses. These courses cover both theoretical and practical skills; this includes the operator’s safety code operating practices, daily inspection procedures and elementary driving practice.

The expansion has allowed the site’s classroom areas and the main racked training hall to increase. The project has also expanded the available car parking space. This extension work means that more operators will be able to undertake the Flexi Training programme. The bespoke training is available for truck drivers in order to make sure the safety and throughput targets are met. Therefore, it is considered vitally important that truck drivers receive regular training.

The expansion of the Flexi Training Ltd facility will allow more training options to be made available. An Advanced Flexi Skills course has also been introduced at the site for high throughput and high lift operators to undertake. The training courses offered by Flexi all exceed the approved standards of the Accrediting Bodies Association. The courses have been designed in order to give new forklift and other Flexi operators the confidence and skills that are required to dive in a manner that is safe and efficient and make sure the safety and productivity targets are met.
