Trucklink has unveiled a DAF CF truck with bespoke curtains and graphics to raise awareness of the upcoming LOROS Hospice Rocket Round Leicester art trail. The company is the official logistics partner for the event which will be held for 10 weeks across Leicester from July 19th and will raise vital funds for LOROS Hospice, a local charity offering special care and respite for the terminally ill and their families.

Organised by Wild in Art, the trail will feature 40 giant decorated rockets, each of which will be distributed by Trucklink’s bespoke truck and sponsored by a local business.

“The event is expected to bring in £6million for the local economy as well as raising vital funds for the hospice and we are delighted to be involved in this community event. We are also sponsoring one of the rockets designed by illustrator Katy Dynes aka Kitty Dinners which will focus on celebrating community,” said Nigel Todd, Manging Director of Trucklink.

Hexagon Leasing, which has been supplying vehicles to Trucklink for the last ten years, also contributed £500 towards the cost of the bespoke curtains and put Trucklink in touch with Xpress Print Solutions in Burton on Trent who installed the graphics on the truck cab and rear doors free of charge.
