Daytona Tamworth Celebrates Half-Term in Style

Daytona Tamworth Celebrates Half-Term in Style

Get your hot wheels heated and put your foot down for some action on the racing grounds at Daytona Tamworth! The site in the Midlands will be the latest site to provide fun for hard-working children off for the half-term hols and will be launching its Junior Race School on the 20th February this year on Monday. This all-new event is aimed for children aged between 8 and 15 years of age to enable them to experience the thrill of the race at the kart track. Under the vigilant tutelage of Daytona’s dedicated squad of karting motorists, children and teenagers alike will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see how the Lewis Hamiltons of this world really operate, and will be schooled in the ways of the road warriors through lessons on safe driving, vehicle maintenance, circuit work and most of all the opportunity to race the vehicles themselves.

With Junior as well as Cadet Karts provided at the Daytona racing site, the day is set to be a fantastic one for children and students wanting to experience some inkling of what it is like to race on these tracks. At £18 (plus VAT) for 20 minutes of time racing on the tracks, this is a very good opportunity for young people to get in the driving seat (for 20 minutes) and enjoy themselves endlessly (for 20 minutes). Of course, on-site staff will be present and will provide safety equipment such as racing gear headwear and driving gloves, ensuring that the day goes fast as a kart for all.

With a location base slightly off junction 10 along the M42, the Daytona Tamworth is the ideal place for racing enthusiasts all over the region and the 20th February will surely be set to be a fantastic day for all involved. Time flies when you’re having fun: especially in a racing kart (for 20 minutes)!
