Premiere For Stena Line And Mann Lines’ Joint Service

From January 1st the cooperation between the ferry company Stena Line and the shipping, logistics and forwarding company Mann Lines reached a new level. From that date the RoRo vessel STENA FORETELLER commenced its first trip on the route between Harwich, Cuxhaven, Tallinn, Turku and Bremerhaven.

The objective of the cooperation between Stena Line and Mann Lines is to offer added value to the customers within the area of logistic services via the extensive joint route network in the North Sea and the Baltics.

Stena Line with its already extensive route network is always working towards developing its offering within the logistics services as well as geographically. Mann Lines offers liner RoRo services between the ports of Harwich, Cuxhaven, Tallinn, Turku and Bremerhaven, a container service between Rotterdam and the Baltics and also offers services within inland distribution and other logistics.

“We are really looking forward to this partnership with Mann Lines and to be able to offer our existing customer base an additional route in our already extensive route network. Our sales team are ready with all the rates and are in the process of visiting all our customers to discuss their needs”, says Peter Kleberg, Head of Shipping Logistics, Stena Line.

The cooperation between Stena Line and Mann Lines started in November 2014 and came into full effect from January 1st2015. At the core of the cooperation between Stena Line and Mann Lines there will be initially three key parts. Firstly a fixed space charter to Stena Line on Mann Lines’ ship, secondly Mann Lines will act as sales agent when it comes to Stena Line’s route network and thirdly, Stena RoRo will charter the RoRo vessel STENA FORETELLER to Mann Lines.
