Passengers, Travelers and Commuters be Vigilant

Passengers, travelers and commuters alike will need to be vigilant particularly around the areas of the where a passenger vehicle was dramatically derailed at Lewisham. Whilst Network Rail wish to report that they have been employing their dedicated team of individuals to help try to rectify the problems and damage as quickly as physically possible, the reparations are still taking place and travelers will need to bear this in mind before they embark on their journeys throughout the week. For example, since Tuesday’s incident which occurred roundabout 05:30 in the morning, some train services such as around Charing Cross and Cannon Street will require the trains along those line to be redirected.

Some train carriages will also leave from different train stations in order to circumnavigate along these necessary works, such as those going to areas such as London Cannon Street or Meadway Towns. Instead of leaving from those specific train stations, they will forthwith leave at London Blackfriars in order to manage with the disruptions caused. Replacement services by shuttle will also navigate from Sidcup to Dartford, Kent in order to deal with the transport alterations caused by the removal of the wreck. It is clear that Network Rail are very sorry that this has happened and that it will certainly anger those will be disrupted because of these measures.

However, they are offering Delay Repay means of returning the money back on purchased tickets, a commendable move by the railway company. Furthermore, those stuck waiting for the train or disrupted in any other way by the changes to services would also be able to have their ticket funds doubled and delivered to them. Network Rail and spokesperson for Southeastern rail services is grateful for the overall characteristically English patience of the British public in the face of this transport maintenance issue that needs to be resolved as soon as possible.
