SG Fleet has become the first Vehicle leasing Specialist to become a part of the ICFM Corporate Investor Programme. SG Fleet is a rapidly expanding company which carries out operations in the UK in Solihull and Stoke on Trent. The company operates over 13,000 vehicles in the UK and 125,000 on an international scale. SG Fleet is the first vehicle leasing specialist to join the programme.
SG Fleet has joined the ICFM Corporate initiative at a Affiliate Investor level. Other members who have joined the scheme only recently have also joined at the Affiliate Investor level. These other new members that have been joined by SG Fleet include Auto Windscreens, Michelin and Ambit.
ICFM is an organisation that focuses on improving the standards of Fleet Professionals all over the UK. The institute was first established in 1992 in order to act on the demand for more clarity in the vehicle management standards expected from professionals with cars and light vans in the fleet management industry. The Corporate Investor Programme that has been set up by ICFM offers more opportunities for companies in the industry to get involved with changing and maintaining the standards of the fleet management industry. There are four different levels of Corporate Investor Opportunity on offer from the institute. Each of the Corporate Investor programmes that are on offer last for 12 months and businesses have the opportunity to upgrade their Membership level.
