Mach 1 Couriers has bought Creative Cars & Couriers, its largest acquisition to date. The deal is in addition to their recent acquisition of Destinations Green, and means that Mach 1’s portfolio of companies now comprises 20 courier companies. These also include A to Z Couriers, and Pink Express.
Creative has a turnover of around £5million, and was established in 1984 to provide both executive cars and couriers in London, as well as delivers services worldwide.
Mach 1 will now acquire their fleet of around 50 passenger cars, 50 couriers, and more than 1,500 corporate accounts ranging from big-name media brands to legal firms. Creative will continue to trade under its current name for the time being, to guarantee its customers continuity.
Jeremy Thompson is the managing director of Mach 1 Couriers. He said, “We are delighted to have acquired the well-established Creative business which is one of our largest and most high profile acquisitions to date.
“There are significant synergies between the two companies as we share key common family values and goals.
“This acquisition underpins our business strategy to grow significantly over the coming years and adds significant revenue to our business as well as experienced staff, an additional office of excellence, along with an increased fleet and job count.
“Our utmost priority is customer satisfaction and we will continue to provide an outstanding service in the same day, UK overnight, international courier and passenger transport sector.”
