The independent parcels, mail and logistics operator, DX, has announced that they have won a major contract. This contract is valued over £10 million per annum, and the logistics operator will be providing services for Avon UK. These logistics services will be tailored by DX to suit the beauty company’s needs.

DX was awarded the contract after a long competitive tender process. Now that they have been awarded the contract, DX will be providing their services to Avon for an initial term of three years. The contract is already underway, and means that DX will be dealing with the established beauty company’s logistics operations which will include delivering their parcels as well as other logistics operations.

Peter Cvetkovic is the Chief Executive Officer of DX and has said that he is pleased at being awarded the contract by Avon UK. DX are able to provide their clients with bespoke logistics solutions. The logistics operation on behalf of Avon has been designed in order to reflect the customer focused approach of DX. The parcels, mail and logistics operator want to focus on their ‘OneDX’ focus which emphasizes the customer central approach of DX. The logistics company works on creating a more efficient and flexible level of deliveries which will then improve customer experience.

Winning the contract has secured the predictions of the logistics company and the expected performance over the financial year. DX will be able to provide Avon UK with an integrated capability as well as being able to provide a better customer service experience. This will benefit Avon as it will improve their processes around dispatching products. Therefore, customers will receive their purchases in a speedy and efficient manner, DX could see an extension on their initially contracted term, and Avon will benefit from an improved reputation for customer services and delivery.
