Cartwright Fleet Welcoming Their First Isuzu Truck

Cartwright Fleet Services (CFS) in Garforth in the Leeds area are very jubilant as today marks the welcoming of their first Isuzu truck convoy in the area. It is widely hoped that with this new scheme in place CFS will be able to cope with the increase in demand for fleet services that it has been receiving and that it will be able to meet more challenging new targets and objectives than ever before. The successes of CFS are significant, having gained a surplus of value in the last year from 6 million pounds to over 26 million pounds by the end of 2016.

This staggering amount of revenue has enabled the company to indulge itself in spending time, effort and money on opening this new Isuzu site on a location of five acres’ size. This planning will create a further 30 employment opportunities at the Isuzu site and will no doubt boost the economy and revenue in the local Garforth area. This is great news for the Garforth company, which has boosted its employment figures from a mere 12 in 2013 to an impressive 170 this year which also includes various apprenticeship schemes for those starting out in the industry.

Indeed, using Isuzu Trucks will expand the loading capabilities as well as the client base of the CFS fleets: with the Isuzus they will be able to transport weights that range from 3.5 tons of product to a staggering 12 tons. In addition to this, the new site will not only be able to load more as a result of this, but its size will mean that it will be able to serve as a sort of local garage for the residents and travelers through Garforth. Indeed, CFS have made plans to open a repair site on the land, as well as a site for inspecting and testing vehicles as well as a Ministry of Transport site where customers can have their vehicles annually tested.
