T&M Plant Hire orders 10 new trucks from MAN Truck & Bus UK to meet demands of city bypass contract.

Tanker and bowser rental specialist T & M Plant has added 10 new MAN TGM 18.290 BB 4×4 bowsers to supply fuel and AdBlue to the earthwork vehicles on site at the new A8 Aberdeen bypass.

Company director Terry Beasley said: “These vehicles were bought specifically because we won the contract to supply the large construction vehicles working on the Aberdeen bypass with fuel and AdBlue.

“We already operate 10 of these vehicles and we went back for more because, in our opinion, they are simply the best 4×4 vehicle. We are specialists in the field of large construction and the TGMs are our natural choice to deliver such a high-profile contract.

“We have taken delivery of three vehicles since the deal was struck and well be taking them once a fortnight until they are all delivered.“

John White, MAN sales executive, added: “T&M Plant is a long-established customer of MAN and we are delighted they turned to us to supply the specialist vehicles when they won this big contract.“

T&M Plant has also benefited from the Warranty Xtra cover offered by  MAN for the vehicles.
