Saxton appoints first ever female driver, Saxton Haulage are pleased to announce that Ashleigh Shreeve will be joining the company as their first ever female driver. Ashleigh’s previous roles includes working as a Class 2 driver for Muller.
Commenting on her recent appointment Ashleigh said “I am so delighted to be offered this role at Saxton Haulage. It has always been my dream to pursue a career in the trucking industry and I’m thankful for the opportunity I’ve been given.”
Ashleigh will be driving a brand new Scania R450 which she has named Mandy Jayne after her mother, Ashleigh holds a C+E license and will be driving across the UK on various contracts from day trips to tramping. In addition to being responsible for the safe passage of loads, Ashleigh will also be tasked with keeping her truck clean so as to maintain the brand that the customers have come to love.
