Midwest Motor Factors Donates to Good Shepherd Ministry

The automotive parts distributor, Midwest Motor Factors has announced that they have donated valuable funds to the Good Shepherd Ministry. The West Midlands distributor has donated the money to the local charity in order to support their works assisting the homeless and others who are in need in the Wolverhampton area.

Midwest has donated £250 to the charity in memory of the Bilston Town F.C chairman and community champion Graham Hodson, who sadly died earlier this year. The much needed money has been gratefully received by the local charity, especially as they work to support the homeless and those in need during the colder months. The Good Shepherd Ministry was first set up in 1972 by a Roman Catholic order of Brothers, the Brothers of Saint John of God. This religious order works to oversee a wide range of projects all over the world in order to help the poor and disadvantaged. One of the projects that have been worked on by the Good Shepherd Ministry includes the 2003 at Wolverhampton Methodist Centre. The money that was raised for this project has helped to deliver food and support.

Brother Stephen received the cheque for £250 on behalf of the Good Shepherd Ministry and has said that the charity is incredibly grateful to Midwest Motor Factors for their donation. It is vital for the charity to receive support from companies and individuals, in order to continue to provide a vital community service. Without the generosity of these companies, the Good Shepherd Ministry would not be able to offer support to those in the Wolverhampton area that really need it. The Midwest Motor Factors group factor manager, Craig McCracken has said that the company is delighted to support Good Shepherd Ministry in Graham’s memory. The charity is such a worthy cause and the donation to the Good Shepherd Ministry is a special way to honour the Bilston Town F.C chairman and community champion.
