Maritime Transport Ltd (Maritime) has teamed up with trailer manufacturer, Lawrence David , at this year’s Commercial Vehicle show, to take a prime position at the NEC Birmingham. The new trailer features in a centrepiece outdoor display at the entrance to the show with one of the company’s new DAF XF 460 Euro 6 trucks.

The collaboration comes on the back of sizeable orders for 2015 placed by Maritime with the two trailer manufacturers.

So far this year, Maritime has taken receipt of 125 XL-Specification trailers from Lawrence David and  the company  has  now ordered   a further 70 trailers from the manufacturer.  Dave Boomer, Managing Director, Distribution stated,  “The quality of the trailers Lawrence David has built for us for us is exceptional.  We are delighted to have placed this additional order with them to continue our growth within the domestic distribution sector, which is moving at a great pace.  We now operate a dedicated curtain sided fleet of 250 and are hoping to add to this later this year.”
