Container logistics specialist KBC is taking delivery of 51 Box Liner FS10 skeletal trailers from Krone, growing its overall KBC/Krone fleet to 160. The FS10 has a flat chassis configuration with a sliding bogie for carrying 20ft, 30ft, 40ft and 45ft containers. Features include fold-out and retractable container locks as well as extendable under-run protection.

“Our business has grown quite rapidly, so we ordered these trailers to support that expansion and future-proof our fleet. The service is excellent from Krone UK, and everything arrived on time. It was a very smooth process from start to finish. Our workshop team really like the Krone trailers as they are robust and have high build quality,” said KBC Director and Transport and Compliance Manager David Ashford.

Founded in 2008, KBC transports ambient and chilled containerised goods from ports to regional distribution centres. It operates a fleet of more than 300 vehicles from four locations, with depots in Purfleet in Essex, Killingholme in Lincolnshire, Southampton, and London Gateway.
