Fraikin has published the first in a new series of literature aimed to help commercial vehicle operators remain up-to-date with important issues regarding legislation and the technological changes which could then impact the road transport industry.
Two guides have been released so far by Fraikin, the contract hire, fleet management and rental specialists. The guides are called’ What You Need to Know on Sustainable Transport and Clean Air’ and ‘What You Need to Know on Vehicle Safety’. The new publications are also the relaunch of a popular series that was created by Fraikin around a decade ago. This series of publications that looks at the essential topics of the day such as Euro-IV and Digital Tachographs and Driver CPC. Since the announcement of the re-launch, tens of thousands of copies have been requested by fleets.
The publications will be available online for free, accessed via Fraikin website and LinkedIn page. There booklets will also be available as printed copies on request. The 12-page booklets are a great way to make sure that commercial drivers have all of the information they need, especially as legislation changes constantly, which is quite daunting for businesses.
The new guide covering sustainability looks into Euro VI and how changes could be made beyond this as well as Ultra-Low Emission Zones and future fuels. The booklet also contains a number of details about where operators can go is they are wanting extra reassurance and independent advice.
The Vehicle Safety Guide covers the most recent updates to safety regulations to make sure that fleets and any advice about action that could be taken. The pamphlet includes information that Fraikin often gives to their client as well as allowing commercial vehicle operators to stay informed and compliant.
Fraikin is expected to release more of these information booklets which will cover a number of different topics later in the year.
