Bullimores Takes Delivery of new Scania Vehicles

Bullimores, the Lincolnshire based aggregate and plant hire company has announced that they have received a new 32-tonne Scania P360 mounted vehicle with an Andover Trailers plant body. This new delivery will work to strengthen the working relationship that has been established between the two companies.

Scania and Bullimores have been working together for more than 15 years and the new vehicles will join the aggregate and plant hire company’s collection of vehicles for their self-drive plant rental business. The 8×2 Scania will join Bullimores’ large commercial vehicle fleet that features eight plant bodies and available to hire as a part of the self-drive rental service offered by the business.

The Managing Director of Bullimores, Chris Bullimores has said that the build quality of the Andover range ensures their repeat business. Having high quality vehicles available is vital for the company’s plant rental service and Bullimores needs to be confident that the vehicles they are offering to rent won’t let them down.

The new vehicle has a body that has been built to a bespoke set of requirements for their clients including a double crank beavertail which has been connected to a pair of 2.5m long hydraulic power toe ramps, as well as an electric winch that has been mounted to the headboard and helps with loading and unloading. This tailor made body also has six pairs of lashing points along the deck in order to offer maximum load security and flexibility, as well as steady legs and working lights in order to deliver optimum safe working conditions.

In addition to offering plant rental, Bullimores also works to supply aggregate to the building and construction industry and operates a skip hire business from their Bourne facility. The work carried out by the business means that a range of heavy-duty vehicles are required to offer their customers the best possible service.
