The TU-Automotive award for the Best Aftermarket Telemarketers Product/Service has been given to a firm that operates in the UK. This prestigious award has been given to the company only two years after they were nominated for the Best Newcomer award. Nebula Systems forms a part of the RAC Group and they have managed to win the award. The company took home the prize for their cloud diagnostic platform called MECH5. Nebula is a company that is based in Buckingham and specialises in creating a range of diagnostic tools that are based in the cloud for the motor repairing sector.

This product, the MECH5 is now being used as a part of the advanced integration stages of the RAC telematics systems. In order to win the Best Aftermarket Telemarketers Product/Service as part of the TU Automotive awards, Nebula Systems had to fight off a great deal of strong competition from other companies within the sector. The award was announced as part of an event which was held in Novi which is in Detroit USA. The event took place on June the 6th.

The TU-Automotive Awards have been set up in order to recognise and celebrate the performances of the year within the connected car industry. Each of the awards that are given out as part of the ceremony had been selected by a panel of judges. The judges that choose the winner of each award contain a variety of experts within the industry.

It is a great achievement for Nebula to take home the award, especially so soon after being awarded with the best newcomer award. The company are focusing on making data from vehicles more accessible by developing cloud based systems. Nebula became a part of RAC in February 2016. It was thought that Nebula would be able to help RAC push further into the market for forward thinking services such as a predictive breakdown system.
