Custom Denning Strengthens UK Commercial Leadership with Appointment of Jamie MacIntosh as Business  Development Manager : Experienced industry veteran joins Custom Denning as company accelerates UK market expansion and  prepares for Element 2.2 launch at EuroBus Expo 2026

Custom Denning has strengthened its UK commercial team with the appointment of Jamie MacIntosh as  Business Development Manager. The appointment comes as Custom Denning continues to establish itself in  the UK market and prepare for the launch of its latest-generation Element 2.2 electric bus at EuroBus Expo  2026 in Birmingham.

Jamie brings almost 20 years of experience in the bus and coach industry, with an extensive background in  sales and business development across the UK sector. He will play a key role in growing Custom Denning’s UK  customer base, engaging with operators and transport authorities, and supporting the company’s expansion  into the market. His appointment reflects Custom Denning’s commitment to building a genuine, sustainable  presence in the UK — backed by a commercial team that understands operator requirements and is  responsive to their needs.

Putting Customer Uptime at the Centre of Everything

For Custom Denning, the UK strategy is built around a simple principle: customer first, and ensuring vehicle  uptime. An operator does not buy a bus to have it sitting in a depot. They buy it to earn revenue. That makes  uptime the number one priority — and it shapes everything Custom Denning does, from vehicle design and  manufacturing to after-sales support and commercial engagement.

Antony Goozee, CEO Europe at Custom Denning, said:

“Jamie brings exactly the experience and customer focus we need as we grow in the UK. Our  philosophy is simple — we work for our customers, we act quickly, and we take responsibility.  Urgency in everything that we do is paramount to both our success, and our operators’  success. The focus is firmly on the customer, vehicle uptime, and getting things done — not  bureaucracy. Our ambition is to bring that mentality to the UK market — delivering great  buses, backed by a manufacturer that responds when our customers need us.”

Commenting on his appointment, Jamie MacIntosh said:

“I’m delighted to be joining Custom Denning at such an exciting time in the UK market. After  19 years in the industry, I understand that operators need more than just a reliable vehicle — they need a manufacturer that is responsive, accessible, and genuinely committed to keeping

their fleet on the road. That sense of urgency really stood out to me when I learned about  Custom Denning’s approach. The focus is firmly on the customer, vehicle uptime, and getting  things done. I’m looking forward to taking that approach into the UK market and building  strong, long-term relationships with operators.”
