Vacu-Lug’s VMS Mobile, its new tyre management app, was the star of its stand at this year’s CV Show. The app provides fleet managers with fingertip access to their fleet’s tyre data at any time and any place, as well as absolute transparency.
An essential tool for vehicle monitoring and compliance control, VMS Mobile works directly in line with Vacu-Lug’s market-proven VMS Online management system to provide full vehicle history data, allowing operators to easily keep a handle on their tyre assets. A demonstration of its capabilities was available on the stand, along with content such as the high spec demonstrative video for interested visitors to take away.
Vacu-Lug brought another new feature this year – the environmental section designed in collaboration with Murfitt’s Industries, who recycle 100% of the company’s scrap tyres. The aim of this section was to demonstrate to visitors the process Vacu-Lug’s customers’ end-of-life-tyres go through and how they are reused within local and wider communities for sport’s surfaces and children’s playgrounds.
Moreover, the stand also featured tyres from Vacu-Lug’s premium Logistik retread range, designed using high-pressure, 12 segment presses to produce highly-efficient drive and trailer tyres. These tyres are specifically created to provide low rolling resistance and maximum kilometre potential to operators throughout the UK.
In addition to producing a series of premium retread tyres for fleets nationwide, Vacu-Lug also supply and, where appropriate, specify new tyres from carefully chosen brand partners, such as Westlake. A selection of their new truck and van tyres were also present on the stand.
