Useful Chip-in From Teletrac Navman Director

The Local Government Association (LGA) has today declared that all at the wheel of a lorry are now required to use satellite navigation systems throughout their journeys. For Teletrac Navman, a company that has been in the transportation logistics sector for a quarter of a Century, this is a significant new step that its employees will need to make in order to be allowed to drive their vehicles along the roads of the United Kingdom.

Mr Peter Millichap the Marketing Director of the company has declared his support for the new legislation by the LGA and has declared that the company itself is always watchful of ensuring that the right factors of the lorries’ properties are duly considered before a vehicle is dispatched onto the roads. This includes how heavy the loaded vehicle is as well as how high and long it is in order to help assess which routes are the safest and most beneficial for the vehicle to take in order to ensure that it does not run the risk of getting trapped or put other drivers and pedestrians in danger in any way whatsoever. What Mr Millichap also declares in his short commentary on the new legislation released today is that Teletrac Navman consistently collaborates very closely with whoever they are dealing with in order to ensure that all aspects of customer satisfaction are met every time a Teletrac Navman lorry hits the road for business.

Mr Millichap urges other transportation companies around the country to take the legislation as an opportunity to invest in greater measures of technology to improve the safety and service quality of their vehicles, such as implementing such equipment as the M-Nav 950, a navigating system especially designed to be used during the driving of vehicles. Millichap persuades would be a better measure for companies to take rather than invest in the all-purpose GPS, which can at times be clumsy to read and is not as effective for transport drivers.
