Now in its seventh year, Transport Ticketing Global will welcome the largest gathering of transport and government executives from around the world, uniting them with payments innovators and smart ticketing specialists.
Featuring a comprehensive three day programme of over 50 presentations and panel debates, 100 expert speakers will deliver insight into the latest transport developments to over 700 senior transport ticketing decision makers.
Among the key topics to be explored include the role of Apple Pay in transport, the future role of biometrics in ticketing, building an open area architecture landscape in an urban environment and the global view for an interoperable intelligent public transport system. Thought – provoking keynotes and case studies will be presented by those who are successfully implementing such schemes.
The event’s Awards recognise and celebrate organisations which have worked tirelessly to build, establish and deploy successful smart ticketing programmes across Europe. Held at the London Transport Museum on 26 January, the world renowned ceremony will honour those making unprecedented advances in the transport industry.
Additionally, The EMV Transport Forum, taking place at Transport Ticketing Global, is the UK’s first niche industry gathering which cuts through the noise around bank-card ticketing and discusses the ‘hands-dirty’ aspects of implementation and market adoption of EMV transport ticketing.
The event will also offer the perfect opportunity for transport executives to share experiences, connect with colleagues and peers and view first-hand the latest technologies available on the exhibition floor.
Transport for London, Department of Transport UK and the Association of Train Operating Companies are confirmed event partners.
