Product Care Chooses Paragon's Software

Product Care, a high quality delivery and after care service, has decided to start using Paragon’s fleXipod software, an advanced electronic proof of delivery solution, to increase the efficiency of its customer service and operational processes. The software will offer more visibility of field activity and will enhance control over its electrical goods home delivery service.

The Managing Director at Product Care, Gavin Hamer explained that what the company needed was a paperless system that would simplify the operations: “In particular, our manual system leads to significant delays in receiving detailed job status data from the field. The real-time data provided by fleXipod will enable us to improve service levels, provide better operational visibility and increase efficiency.”

Another advantage for the team would be the ability to use the fleXipod mobile application that allows the technicians to capture proof of delivery data electronically via handheld devices with the possibility of input of information on completion. This way Product Care will be able to manage daily activity by tracking orders in real-time and responding quickly to customer issues straight from its depots in Wigan and Daventry.

The software also has automated guidance that ensures technicians follow the correct procedures for all deliveries and additional services. The electronic forms will then be used to streamline and manage other processes such as vehicle inspections.

“We chose Paragon’s electronic proof of delivery system because it offers a solution that is simple, efficient and reliable, while still allowing us to tailor both the management console and the driver interface to our operational and customer service processes whenever necessary. The implementation and rollout process has run very smoothly, with the team at Paragon always on hand to offer advice, training and support,” added Gavin Hamer.

This would be the second collaboration between Product Care and Paragon, following last year’s decision to implement Paragon’s multi drop routing and scheduling software, which enabled the company to integrate its route planning and customer service teams to organise better deliveries.
