Masabi Deployed Two of Their Mobile Ticketing Software

Masabi has revealed that they have deployed the first two of their mobile ticketing software. The company have launched the two mobile ticketing services through JustRide SDK. This Software Development Kit, or SDK has been noted as the first mobile ticketing SDK in the world and was first used by Kolis and then by their subsidiary Kisio.

The SDK will be used in order to help transport companies install and use mobile ticketing options as well as allowing them to effectively incorporating this ticketing option into a company’s existing travel information. Passengers will benefit from this service as mobile ticketing will be available in booking and planning apps for passengers to utilize. Passengers will also see an improvement to their experience by using this service.

Masabi is a leading company for the mobile ticketing and innovative fare collection sector and has announced their first two deployments. Masabi has calculated that their mobile ticketing technology is being used by more than 25 transport operators around the world. These operators include MTS in New York and Transport for Athens.

Keolis is the strategic partner for Masabi and have used the mobile ticketing software for their Plan-Book-Ticket Service which uses the leading visual and barcode based mobile ticketing technology that has been generated by Masabi through their JustRide Hub. As part of this platform, agencies working in French public transport have set up systems that allows passengers using their service to scan their mobile tickets after they have boarded. The transport agencies in France that use this system have managed to create their fully integrated and custom branded ticketing and trip planning apps for passengers to use.
