Leeds 10K: Masternaut Employees Fundraise For Breast Cancer Support Centre, The Haven, For Third Year Running
Leeds-based Masternaut, the largest European provider of telematics, are inspired again this year to step out in force and take to the roads of Leeds, in support of The Haven. This awe-inspiring charity is close to many hearts at Masternaut, whose staff raise funds year-on-year to champion this and other cancer charities.
Since 2011, Masternaut employees have raised over £15,000 for The Haven. This year, the Masternaut team are taking part in the Leeds 10k on 20th July2014, in a bid to raise even more money. The event is set to be widely acknowledged as the biggest and best yet – a true testament to those who have pounded the pavements to date.

Our fundraising will help The Haven to continue to provide an outstanding quality of service and care, enabling them to transform the lives of anyone who is trying to cope with the impact of breast cancer. The funds raised by Masternaut will be spent on supporting The Haven’s programme of care. It takes just £1,000 to provide a tailor-made programme of care for each person who comes through the charity’s door. Offering a wide range of therapies which help people to deal with the physical, and emotional, side-effects of breast cancer is essential work, as experts believe up to 10,000 lives could be saved in the UK each year if cancer was detected earlier.
The Haven are a national charity committed to helping people through the experience of breast cancer, by providing a free programme of support and helping to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by breast cancer. The charity actively supports both clinical treatments for breast cancer and expanding the research-based evidence for complementary therapies.
