Visitors attending this year’s Intralogistex are getting the exclusive opportunity to be the first to experience supply chain specialist, Access Group’s, new-look WMS solution.
The Access supply chain team will be showcasing the latest upgrades to its Access WMS (Warehouse Management System) solution at their stand (604) during the two-day event from 26 – 27 February at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
The two exciting new updates will give users the ability to track essential performance-based warehousing KPIs though a new dashboard, while allowing them to access the software at any time or place thanks to a new cloud based WMS feature.
“Our Access WMS solution has been very popular and has helped many businesses from a range of industries optimise space, reduce wastage and ultimately increase productivity in their warehouse operations. We’re really excited about the new updates to the software which will give our customers greater visibility and control over their warehousing, whether onsite or offsite,” said Rob Hodgson, WMS specialist at Access Group.
Allowing the user to access valuable information on warehouse performance remotely through a tablet, laptop or desktop, warehouse managers are able to see the total number of items picked per hour, the number of items picked by time, monitor operator performance by task and identify the fastest order pickers.
“In recent years traceability has become a growing concern for many of our customers – you need only look back at a few of the major logistics mishaps that hit the headlines last year to see why. However, Access WMS helps our customers trace each and every stock item from any location, providing them with assurances on the whereabouts of all stock so they can demonstrate compliance and provide their customers with even higher levels of service and care,” explained Rob.
“These updates to Access WMS are the result of listening to invaluable feedback from our customers and key insights gained from the extensive experience of the many warehousing experts we have on the Access Group team. It has been designed to help warehouse managers greatly improve performance and to help them identify and rectify any warehousing problems before they become a hinderance to productivity,” he added.
In addition to exhibiting at stand 604, Access Group will also be hosting two interactive talks taking place at 12.30pm on both Tuesday 26 February and Wednesday 27 February, discussing how the KPI dashboard could help steer businesses to further successes on the first day and exploring the benefits of harnessing the power of a cloud-based WMS on the second.
