Feasibility of Hyperloop Technology Systems

Feasibility of Hyperloop Technology Systems

There has been a signing for a feasibility study, to the value of $2.5 million, looking into Hyperloop Transportation Technologies. This agreement is the beginning of exploration into the feasibility of Hyperloop technology systems for Indonesia. The exploration will focus on Jakarta to begin with, before expanding and looking at the feasibility for this kind of transportation when connecting Java to Sumatra.

Hyperloop™ transport will see tracks built that will consist of a pod-like vehicle through a near vacuum tube. The transportation system will be able to carry freight and passengers at near airline speed. This agreement is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. This futuristic sounding mode of transport has experienced steps forward in production. The HTT has made deals and with several different regulators and governments. Routes are being developed from Bratislava, Slovakia to Brno in the Czech Republic. There has also been agreements for a research and development centre in Toulouse, France.  Another route is also being developed which could see Abu Dhabi to Al Ain, which is under the patronage of HH Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Transport was founded by a JumpStartFund to try and make Hyperloop™ transport a reality. With more government agreements expected this year, HTT should continue to make more private partnerships in order to produce the studies and agreements necessary to make Hyperloop™ transport a reality worldwide.

Indonesia is the fourth most populated country in the world with 260 million people living there. Within that, the city of Jakarta has a population of 10 million people. People living within the city are familiar with four hour commutes. Therefore Hyperloop™ technology could go to great lengths to reduce transportation times. This technology also has the potential to improve and reduce long distance travel. The company now needs to develop the necessary framework and building their first Hyperloop™ system.
