Trailerlock, known for being the only importer and distributor of patented protection systems that are suitable for use on the cargo compartments of rigids and semi-trailers have announced that they are experiencing a high demand for their locking devices. M1 Marketing have announced the news on behalf of the company and have said that their devices, which can be used on both ambient and refrigerated vehicles have been in demand by operators who work on cross-channel routes.
The locks that are on offer includes a Trailerlock which has been developed in order to protect the rear doors of trailers and LCVs. This lock will prevent intruders from breaking in while the vehicle is moving and also while the vehicle is at trest in a praked area. The Trailerlock consists of a case and an anchoring bolt as well as a security nut and a wrench. There are also backup wrenches and anchors that are installed on to the frame of the trailer in order to prevent the door handle from being opened.
Also on offer is the Fridgelock and the Spare Wheel Lock. The Fridgelock has been designed as an adjustable piece of equipment that can easily fit across locking bars in order to offer an extra level of protection. The Spare Wheel Lock sits over the centre spine of the spare wheel carrier in order to protect against theft. All of the locks on offer are seen to be practically impossible to open without the pocket wrench that is supplied with the safety equipment.
The devices have been manufactured from solid steel and are simple to operate and usually can be installed to the the rear doors of semi trailers without any need for modifications. The device has been manufactured in order to be suitable for the majority of trailers and is seen as ideal for those who operate on an international scale.
