Narrow Aisle Ltd, the manufacturer of the Flexi range of articulated forklift truck-based intralogistics solution, has been accredited with ISO 9001:2015 certification, following a successful external audit by the British Standards Institute (BSI).
“We are all very proud of the work we do and ISO9001 recognition shows that all aspects of our business comply with best practice standards that are acknowledged the world over,” said John Maguire, Narrow Aisle’s commercial director. “The accreditation also clearly demonstrates Narrow Aisle’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet essential customer and regulatory requirements. It is invaluable to our operation – particularly when it comes to tendering for contracts with larger companies and overseas customers.”
Narrow Aisle has held ISO 9001 status since 1995, an uninterrupted period of 23 years. ISO 9001:2015 is the latest version of the ISO 9001 quality management standards, replacing the ISO 9001:2008.
“Our consistent commitment to quality throughout our manufacturing supply chain is further underlined by the fact that we only specify components from respected ‘Tier One’ suppliers – so only top quality original parts are used in our build process,” added John Maguire.

In order to achieve the ISO 9001:2015 specification, an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as aiming to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
All the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.
