London EV Show 2026 to Examine Mass EV Adoption

London EV Show 2026 to Examine Mass EV Adoption

The London EV Show 2026 will return to ExCeL London on 18–19 November 2026, bringing together policymakers, local authorities, energy and charging infrastructure companies, fleet operators, technology providers, automotive businesses, investors and emerging innovators to examine the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of electric mobility.

Now in its fifth edition, the event will look beyond electric vehicles themselves to address the wider ecosystem required to deliver the transition to zero-emission transport.

Addressing the infrastructure behind the EV transition

A major focus of the conference will be the infrastructure and energy systems required to support growing EV adoption.

The planned sessions will examine charging infrastructure, grid capacity, smart charging, energy integration and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X), alongside the role of technology and collaboration in creating a reliable and scalable charging ecosystem.

The event will bring together organisations operating across this landscape, including companies involved in charging infrastructure, power electronics, energy systems, software, electrical testing, connectivity and payments.

Among the companies participating are Infypower, Delta Electronics, E.ON Drive Infrastructure, Yunex Traffic, Solidstudio, Tridens EV Charge, Bender, Megger, emnify and Siretta, alongside a growing roster of specialist technology providers.

From policy commitments to real-world fleet electrification

Commercial and public-sector fleet electrification will form another significant strand of the 2026 programme.

Industry discussions will explore the practical realities of transitioning fleets, including charging requirements, procurement, operational considerations, economics and the challenges facing logistics and last-mile mobility.

The programme brings together voices from organisations including Logistics UK, DPD, NHS England, ISS Facility Services UK and other fleet and mobility stakeholders, providing perspectives from organisations undertaking or supporting real-world electrification.

Connecting policymakers with the companies delivering the transition

The event will also feature a dedicated Council Engagement Programme, designed to connect local authorities and transport planners with companies working across charging, energy, fleets, mobility and technology.

The programme will address issues including:

  • Fleet electrification and procurement
  • Charging infrastructure and grid capacity
  • Accessible and equitable EV access
  • Funding, innovation and investment
  • Planning and local delivery
  • Shared and sustainable mobility
  • The initiative provides a dedicated forum for councils and industry to discuss the practical barriers they face and explore potential solutions for delivering zero-emission transport at a local level.

A strong government and public-sector presence

The conference programme features speakers from government, local authorities, industry organisations, research bodies and transport operators.

Confirmed speakers include representatives from the UK Department for Transport, Energy Systems Catapult, E.ON Drive Infrastructure, Renewable Energy Association, BusinessLDN, C40, Southwark Council, Coventry City Council, Brighton & Hove City Council, Logistics UK, DPD, NHS England and Great Western Railway, among others.

The diversity of the speaker programme reflects the increasingly interconnected nature of the EV transition, where transport policy, energy infrastructure, urban planning, commercial operations and technology must work together.

Showcasing the next generation of EV technology

Alongside established industry players, London EV Show 2026 will provide a platform for emerging companies developing technologies across the electric mobility ecosystem.

The startup and innovation community includes companies working in areas such as EV charging cybersecurity, electric last-mile mobility, battery diagnostics, accessible electric mobility and next-generation charging infrastructure.

Among the emerging companies participating are PlugSecure, Castle Peak Innovations, EVIAS, Solotec Scientific, McElmeel Mobility Services and SBD Technologies.

Their presence reflects the increasingly diverse range of technologies being developed around electrification, extending from vehicles and charging hardware to software, safety, cybersecurity and entirely new approaches to mobility infrastructure.

Beyond the vehicle

The 2026 programme will explore a broad range of themes, including:

EV Policy & Regulation | Charging Infrastructure & Energy | Fleet Electrification & Commercial Mobility | Cities & Urban Mobility | Net-Zero Transport | Batteries & Energy Systems | Technology & Cybersecurity | Investment & Innovation

The conference will also examine mobility beyond conventional road vehicles, with discussions covering areas such as rail electrification and wider zero-emission transport systems.

An ecosystem built around collaboration

As governments, businesses and cities work towards increasingly ambitious decarbonisation objectives, the transition to electric mobility is becoming less about individual vehicles and more about the infrastructure, energy systems, technology and commercial models required to support them.

London EV Show 2026 aims to provide a platform where these different parts of the ecosystem can interact — enabling policymakers to engage with technology providers, fleet operators to explore solutions, and businesses and investors to identify emerging opportunities.

Shariq AbdulHai, CEO of Valiant Business Media, the organisers of the London EV Show, said:

“The next phase of electric mobility requires much more than increasing the number of electric vehicles on the road. It requires charging infrastructure, grid capacity, smart energy systems, commercially viable fleet solutions, supportive policy and technologies that can address the challenges of a rapidly evolving transport ecosystem.

“London EV Show 2026 brings these different stakeholders together to examine those challenges from multiple perspectives and, importantly, to focus on the practical steps needed to accelerate the transition.”

With further speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, startups and industry partners expected to join ahead of the event, the programme will continue to evolve in the run-up to November.
