Colin Turkington will be travelling to the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship which will be taking place at brands hatch this weekend. The race meeting will see Colin take part in a head to head battle for the title spot.
The championship finale will take place at Brands hatch this weekend and will see Ash Sutton, the championship leader and the TerraClean Ambassador Colin Turkington undertake a gripping final race weekend with just 10 points between them.
The previous race meeting took place on the 17th September at Silverstone and the BMW driver gave it everything in order to make sure that he out-scored his rivals. At this event Colin moved up the field in the first race from 8th to 4th, before progressing to P3 in the opening laps of the second race. With a final attempt to claim the podium for himself on the final corner, Colin managed a respectable third place. In the first lap of the third race, Colin went spinning off the track but later managed to rejoin back in 21st place, his car, a BMW 125i M Sport suffered heavy damage that meant he had to visit the past for repairs, emerging to finish the race in 22nd, but scoring manufacturers points which are essential at this stage in the championships.
Now, despite the disappointing events of the third race at Silverstone, Colin is focusing on preparations for Brands Hatch. This weekend. The Brands Hatch GP is one of Colin’s favourite circuits and has been a place of success in the past. Hopefully this weekend will be just as successful for Colin. It is thought that the race meeting will be an exciting end to the British Touring Car Championship 2017, and TerraClean will be in full support of Colin as he prepares for the races.
