Brake Invites Award Entries Fleet and Transport Teams. Safety-conscious individuals who drive as part of their work and organisations that employ them are encouraged to shout loud about their road safety achievements by entering this year’s UK Fleet Champion Awards, run by the road safety charity Brake.
Brake has been running an awards programme for safety in the fleet and transport sector for more than 20 years. It recognises best practice, hard work and innovative projects that contribute to creating safer roads for everyone.
Applications are welcome from any organisation that supports the fleet industry with products or services promoting road and transport safety, as well as from haulage, logistics and transport organisations, fleet operators and drivers.
In addition, Brake invites people to nominate colleagues and peers who have gone above and beyond in their mission to tackle work-related road risk throughout their career, or in their organisation.
The awards are free to enter with a deadline of 5pm on Friday 1 May 2026. All entries are judged by an independent panel of experts, and the winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at New Dock Hall in central Leeds, on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
Fleet telematics provider Quartix is the headline sponsor for this year’s awards and Driving for Better Business by National Highways returns as Brake’s partner in delivery for the third year running.
This year’s categories are:

Brake’s CEO Ross Moorlock said: “The UK Fleet Champions Awards are a wonderful opportunity to recognise organisations and individuals who put road safety at the heart of their operations. With around one in three road deaths and one-fifth of serious injuries in the UK involving someone driving for work, these organisations play a vital role in the pursuit of safer roads for everyone, however they travel.
“I am always proud and excited to honour the important achievements of individuals and organisations who work so hard to prevent crashes and reduce pollution caused by work vehicles.
“With so many categories to enter, there is something for everyone. I really encourage people to send in applications before next week’s deadline. We look forwarding to welcoming the entrants and winners on the night.”
