Baines Simmons, the aviation safety consultants have been awarded a contract to deliver their consultancy and training expertise to the European Defence Agency, the EDA. The contract that has been awarded to Baines Simmons will last for four years and the services the consultancy company will deliver is expected to offer support for the continued development and deployment of the full suite of European Military Airworthiness Requirements, or EMARs.

This EMAR development and support with implementation offered by Baines Simmons will be delivered to the EDA and the 27 Member States of the agency. The programme of support and training will look into the constant evolutions of the European Aviation Safety Agency and their baseline requirements. There will also be coverage of the Safety Management System implementation and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems.
