Visitor registration is now open for Euro Bus Expo 2020. Europe’s biggest bus and coach event taking place this year is preparing to host over 270 exhibitors, showcase 130 vehicles and welcome 9,000 attendees from around the world to the NEC Birmingham over 3-5 November.
Since its first biennial edition in 2006, Euro Bus Expo has become firmly established as the leading trade event for the bus and coach industry. It’s helped launch thousands of new vehicles and products onto the market, and its free seminars have enabled tens of thousands of visitors to benefit from expert insights from all the leading operators.
This year’s compelling line-up includes three action-packed days of business and networking, vehicle launches and new product demos, innovation and insights, and an unrivalled Master Class Theatre programme featuring some of the biggest names in the business.
Show features include the miniplus Area for small to medium PCV operators (displaying purpose-built vehicles and conversion services), the new Zero Emission Zone highlighting the latest electric vehicles, and the Technology Zone – a hub of new software, IT equipment, mobile technology, onboard Wi-Fi, ticketing systems, revenue collection services and more.
For the visitors planning to attend in their thousands (around two in every three visitors are show regulars), Euro Bus Expo is ‘essential’ for keeping up with the latest innovations and developments. While for the show’s exhibiting companies, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with all the key people – including the UK and Europe’s biggest bus and coach operators, transport planners, local authorities, stakeholders, and decision makers – at their industry show.
Britain’s coach and bus trade body, the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT) is once again the show partner. While show supporters include Greener Journeys, Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP), and independent passenger watchdog Transport Focus.
Event director Helen Conway says: “Euro Bus Expo has proved itself time after time to be an essential visit to see what’s new and compare the latest innovations and services: whether you’re looking for new vehicles, to upgrade your technology, improve your passengers’ experience or your business efficiency. The industry moves too quickly to miss it, which is why exhibition space is filling up fast and we’re expecting a record turnout this Autumn.
“The event always attracts the best, most exciting and inspiring exhibitors and industry experts, which is a testament to just how invaluable it is to the industry it serves.”
Graham Vidler, the CPT’s chief executive, says: “I’m delighted that once again CPT is the show partner for Euro Bus Expo. 2020 promises to be an exciting year for the bus and coach industry and this show forms an important part of the calendar giving operators, suppliers and others the chance to come together to discuss the latest developments. Having enjoyed Coach & Bus UK last year, I’m very much looking forward to attending what will be my first Euro Bus Expo later this year.”
“We know from our research how vital public transport is to the UK economy, and Euro Bus Expo plays a pivotal role in bringing operators, manufacturers and the whole sector together. This is the key date in the calendar, and I would strongly encourage visitors to attend,” agrees Claire Haigh, CEO of Greener Journeys.
