Edwards Coaches has beaten off competition from coach tour operators across the UK to win 4 “yes 4” major awards at the National Coach Tourism Awards 2015, held at the West Midlands Safari Park on Thursday 14th May 2015.
Labelled the ‘Oscar’‘ of the Travel Industry’ with the ‘best in the business’ on show, these awards are extremely sort after. Edwards Coaches, already an award winning company, came away with 4 awards all in one evening, which is almost unheard of.
Jason Edwards, Commercial Director, collected the 4 awards in front of more than 400 tourism professionals and commenting of the company’s success he said:
“I am almost speechless, everyone would like to win an award this evening but to walk away with 4 totally exceeded my expectations, I will certainly remember this occasion for a long, long time. I am so pleased that our Hotel has been recognised, particularly after all the hard work that went into the recent refurbishments. Above all I am exceptionally proud of my staff, especially Alan Clough who has won the highest accolade bestowed by the industry, and Glyn Bowden.., now undoubtedly the best UK coach tourism driver.
This last year has seen extraordinary organisational growth and I would like to thank the whole workforce for their dedication, attention to detail and commitment, without which we would not have won the Coach Tour Operator Large Fleet award.., well done everyone.”
Competing against the best companies in the UK coach tourism industry Edwards stole the show by winning an unprecedented four awards in the following categories:
