Flexport, the modern freight forwarder, has announced the appointment of Paul Rombeek as the new Senior Director of Network Trade Lane Management, EMEA. Responsible for driving Flexport’s consolidated air and ocean service offerings, Paul will help Flexport Europe to grow and develop its air services, with a focus on the Far East Westbound.
He brings 22 years of experience in aviation to his new role and will focus on building out Flexport’s end-to-end air experience, extending the customer base, by ensuring the highest levels of customer experience, service performance and pricing solutions for customers.

Paul started his career at Air France-KLM, where he held operational and commercial positions in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia Pacific. He held the role of General Manager for South East Asia & Pacific at Air France-KLM, before going on to join low-cost-carrier Tigerair Mandala as CEO, launching the business in Indonesia. Most recently Paul was Global Head of Sales for the Jetstar Airways Group and Chief Commercial Officer of Jetstar Asia.
