Flybe Confirms Expanded Winter Schedule From Glasgow

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has announced the return of flights to and from Exeter as part of its 2015-16 Winter programme, operating four days a week and effective for travel between 25th October 2015 and 26th March 2016.

Further highlights of Flybe’s winter schedule from Glasgow, that features seven routes in total, includes the first winter of its daily year-round flights to and from Bournemouth and Cardiff together as well as increased flights on both its Belfast City and Birmingham services to meet customer demand.

Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, comments: “We are committed to offering our customers a wider range of flights from their local airports so we are pleased to announce this new route to Exeter to better serve the needs of our customers. The diversity and added frequency to our winter programme demonstrates our commitment in providing unrivalled regional connections and onward seamless travel with codeshare partners to the rest of the world.”

Paul White, Business Development Manager at Glasgow Airport, said: “It is fantastic that Flybe will be serving Exeter from Glasgow Airport from this winter. The fact that there will be four services each week demonstrates the demand for this route to the south west of England – both as a business and a leisure link. As well as being a great service to the south west coast for Scottish businesses, particularly those working in the marine sector, it also provides a crucial link to top tourist destinations such as Torquay, Plymouth and Penzance. We wish Flybe every success with this new route and look forward to working closely with the airline to ensure its continued expansion at Glasgow Airport.”
