P2P Group, the mailing and distribution solutions provider,  has appointed Peter Somers, former Managing Director of bpost parcels and international and member of the Executive Committee of bpost, to its board as Non Executive Director.

As Non Executive Director, Peter will help to shape the strategic direction of P2P and consolidate the company’s position in the market as a leading independent and privately owned distribution solutions provider to the ecommerce sector both in the UK and abroad.

Peter Somers comments:  “I have worked with P2P for a number of years and have been impressed with what they have achieved in a relatively short timescale.  I am very pleased to be accepted as part of their Senior Management Team and look forward to the challenges ahead. P2P has a great deal to offer the ecommerce sector with a number of key strategic initiatives in the pipeline.”
