Leading logistics specialist, Connect Group, has been awarded 10 accolades by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its commitment to health and safety for a third consecutive year.
Presented at an awards ceremony held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, both Connect Group’s brands, specialist parcel carrier, Tuffnells and magazine and newspaper wholesaler, Smiths News were recognised for their efforts towards improving health and safety standards in the workplace through education and new technologies.
Among the winners, Smiths News Birmingham achieved its fourth consecutive Gold RoSPA award, while Smiths News Newport, Newcastle, Stockport, Nottingham and Slough received their third.
Further successes came from Tuffnells Brierley Hill and Haydock who received their first ever externally verified health and safety award.
