St Modwen’s business park in Stratford-upon-Avon has welcomed two more major logistics companies into its space. First company to sign a deal was XPO Logistics, which agreed a lease for 163,000 sq ft of space, on top of its already occupied 90,000 sq ft. XPO was followed by Unipart Logistics, which is taking 75,000 sq ft.
“Meon Vale is already home to a strong profile of businesses and these recent deals with two of the world’s largest logistics companies are testament to the growing demand for industrial and logistics space in the Midlands,” said Gemma Butler, asset manager at St. Modwen.
Meon Vale Business Park offers more than 800,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse space. Darby Keye has recently been appointed as agent for the site by St. Modwen, working alongside existing agents Bromwich Hardy.
“We are truly delighted to be working with St. Modwen and Bromwich Hardy on Meon Vale Business Park. We believe the scheme provides a rare opportunity for occupiers to secure large scale, budget warehouse accommodation on flexible terms, which is very scarce in today’s market. Alongside Bromwich Hardy, we will be working hard to build on the success of the scheme, shouting loud about its key attributes and highlighting availability to ensure that occupiers fully understand what Meon Vale Business Park has to offer,” commented Chris Keye from Darby Keye.
The business park forms part of a larger 478 acre site and unit space varies from 10,000 sq ft to 90,000 sq ft, with Ford Retail, Wanzl and Premier Component amongst its existing tenants.
