Following the success of RTX Northern Ireland earlier this year, Road Transport Media has announced the launch of RTX Ireland, a new trade event dedicated to the Irish road haulage sector.
Taking place on 12-13 May 2027 at the prestigious Goff venue in County Kildare, RTX Ireland will bring the proven “All about the truck” format to fleet operators, transport managers and industry professionals across the Republic of Ireland.
Designed specifically for road freight operators, the exhibition will provide visitors with direct access to leading truck manufacturers, bodybuilders, trailer suppliers, technology providers, tyre and component manufacturers, as well as finance, training and compliance specialists, all in one venue.
The event will feature a dedicated Knowledge Zone, offering expert-led presentations and discussions focused on the key challenges and opportunities facing the Irish haulage industry.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest commercial vehicles through the popular RTX Ride & Drive experience, subject to licence requirements.
To deliver the event, Road Transport Media has partnered with established Irish transport industry brands Fleet Transport and Export & Freight.
Vic Bunby, managing director of Road Transport Media and RTX Ireland show director, said: “We are very much looking forward to bringing the popular RTX format to Ireland next year and, having spoken to a number of stakeholders, have been delighted with the interest shown by the industry. It promises to be a fantastic debut event for Ireland.”
The choice of venue reflects the event’s ambitions. Founded in 1866, Goffs is internationally renowned for its thoroughbred horse auctions and has a long history of hosting major exhibitions and events.
Jarlath Sweeney, group editor of Fleet Publications, publisher of Fleet Transport magazine, added: “We are delighted to be part of all aspects of the event, with bookings now open for trade exhibitors.”
RTX Ireland aims to create a focused platform where operators can explore the latest vehicles, products, services and innovation while networking with suppliers and fellow industry professionals.
Further details, including exhibitor information and visitor registration, will be released later this year. Industry professionals are encouraged to visit roadtransportexpo.co.uk
