Tyron Triumph in Paris at Eurosatory 2026

Tyron Runflat triumphed at Eurosatory 2026, officially unveiling its new 20 x 10 Carbon Composite Wheel securing enquiries from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) within the first day of the specialist defence exhibition.

The innovative manufacturer attracted the attention of stakeholders from across the industry at the leading exhibition for security and defence, held in Paris. With over 2,000 exhibitors from 61 countries, Eurosatory 2026 was the most ambitious in the event’s history offering a unique dive into contemporary operational and strategic issues.

Standing side-by-side with global allies from across the defence and security industries, Tyron unveiled its latest system, the Carbon Composite Wheel, which offers up to 500kg gross vehicle weight saving compared to traditional steel wheels.

Bringing leaders from across the industry together at a time of political pressure, global unrest, delays and investment budgets, the exhibition created an important occasion for Tyron to showcase its latest innovation and share its leading tyre-safety systems.

Peter Simson, Director at Tyron Runflat comments: “Having attended this exhibition for more than 20 years, we specifically chose Eurosatory to be the backdrop of our launch. Offering a global stage with some of the most influential individuals from across the defence industry, we received very strong interest from several major OEMs, showing the investment to date has been worthwhile.

“Eurosatory has come at a very pivotal time for the defence industry as funding remains stretched and geopolitical unrest is widespread. Modern warfare is being shaped by a cohort of new innovations and technological demands, highlighting the critical need for product investment and manufacturing expertise. Never has it been more important that the defence industry remains resilient and continues to reshape its provisions.

“I was proud to be joined by our Business Development Director Mohamed Elnady and our Director Dr Stuart Turner, as Eurosatory provided our team with the opportunity to meet with some of our leading suppliers.”

Having worked with the defence sector for over 30 years, Tyron recognises the nuanced challenges faced by the defence sector. That’s why the business has made it its mission to provide life-saving tyre safety solutions intended to keep vehicles moving even in the most treacherous war zones.

Peter added: “We recognise the defence industry is currently experiencing revolutionary innovation as demands within dangerous war zones are altered. We’re living in a highly unpredictable time, but we continue to do what we can to keep soldiers safe and vehicles on the move.”
