MFG & Morrisons Reward EV Drivers with More Points

MFG & Morrisons Reward EV Drivers with More Points

Motor Fuel Group (MFG), the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Morrisons, one of the UK’s most popular supermarket chains, to reward electric vehicle (EV) drivers with Morrisons More Points every time they charge their vehicle at any MFG EV Power charging bay.

Highlights:

  • EV drivers can now earn 5 Morrisons More Points for every £1 spent at any MFG EV Power charging bays nationwide.
  • Morrisons More Points are redeemable at any Morrisons supermarket.
  • MFG has already completed a £105 million investment to upgrade Morrisons forecourts, since its acquisition in January 2024, MFG’s investment means that Morrisons is now the #1 supermarket for EV charging facilities, with more bays than any other food retailer.
  • This year, MFG is installing a further 250 ultra-rapid charging bays across Morrisons forecourts, as part of its £400m EV infrastructure investment plan.
  • MFG and Morrisons are working together to support the UK’s transition to electric vehicles, providing convenient, high-speed charging for drivers.

Earn Morrisons More Points when you charge your EV

From Tuesday 17 March 2026, EV drivers across the UK can earn 5 Morrisons More Points for every £1 spent at any MFG EV Power charging bay.

Morrisons More points are redeemable at any Morrisons supermarket, allowing customers to enjoy savings on groceries and essentials as they shop. Please note, points are not currently redeemable at Morrisons Daily convenience stores.

This initiative is available across all MFG EV Power locations nationwide, reflecting both companies’ shared commitment to enhancing the EV driver experience and supporting the UK’s energy transition.

Expanding EV Infrastructure for UK Drivers

As part of MFG’s mission to lead the UK’s EV charging revolution, the company is installing 250 additional ultra-rapid EV charging bays at Morrisons forecourts in 2026. These chargers, capable of delivering up to 150kW, 300kW, and 400kW of power, allow EV drivers to recharge quickly while shopping.

This investment is part of MFG’s wider £400m EV infrastructure programme, which aims to install over 3,000 ultra-rapid chargers at 500 sites across the UK by 2030.

This partnership with Morrisons highlights MFG’s dual focus on delivering ultra-rapid EV charging facilities and creating added value for customers through innovative collaborations.

Martin Symes, EV Director at MFG, said:

“We are delighted to partner with Morrisons to reward our EV Power customers with Morrisons More Points. This collaboration is another step forward in our commitment to creating a seamless, customer-focused EV charging experience. With the addition of 250 ultra-rapid charging bays this year at Morrisons sites, we are proud to play a leading role in building the infrastructure required for the UK’s electric future.”

Matt McLellan, Group Customer, Marketing and Data Director at Morrisons, added:

“We are always looking for new ways to give our customers more value through the Morrisons More programme, and this partnership with MFG does exactly that. Rewarding customers with 5 Morrisons More Points for every £1 spent charging at all MFG EV Power bays across the UK means they can earn valuable points on the road and enjoy savings when they shop with us in store.

As more drivers make the switch to electric vehicles, it’s important that we continue to evolve our loyalty offering to reflect how our customers live their lives. By linking EV charging with Morrisons More Points, we’re making it even easier for customers to benefit from choosing Morrisons – whether they’re filling their fridge or powering their car.”
