Activa Contracts has become the first major contract hire and leasing company to offers customers Nationwide Mobile Repairs’ service in order to cut vehicle downtime. Customers benefit from an updated mobile phone application that allows drivers to send pictures of any damage that they would like to be repaired and have a direct lien to both Activa Contracts and Nationwide Mobile Repairs to advise on the best course of action.
Nationwide Mobile Repairs’ operates an 80-strong fleet of mobile repair units and employs skilled repair technicians delivering a flexible and complete accident repair solution. All repairs are completed within a single day at a location of the fleet decision-maker or driver’s choosing – saving time and the inconvenience of taking a company car or van into a traditional bodyshop for repair.
“The quality of the damage repairs by Nationwide Mobile Repairs is first class. Some of our customers have previously used Smart repair firms for bumps and scratches and the work undertaken has not been of the required standard in accordance with our end-of-contract damage policy,” explained Lisa Temperton, Activa Contracts’ sales and marketing director.
“As a result, a customer has incurred additional costs either as a result of an end-of-contract damage charge or has paid again to have the damage repaired prior to defleet. Neither of those situations are satisfactory to either Activa Contracts or our clients, which is another major reason why we have launched the new partnership with Nationwide Mobile Repairs,” Lisa added.
Nationwide Mobile Repairs operates across England, Scotland and Wales with the fleet of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans equipped with state-of-the-art repair equipment that ensures a quality repair to the highest of standards, matching those expected of a conventional bodyshop.
Work is completed within a fully enclosed repair capsule, giving technicians the capability to repair most vehicles, including some commercial vehicles such as medium wheel based, low roof vans.
