FIEGE Group Chooses PSI Warehouse Software

FIEGE Group Chooses PSI Warehouse Software

The contract logistics company FIEGE has decided to use the current PSIwms release 4.0, following an intensive selection process for a warehousing software capable of providing long-term investment security. The standard system won because of its comprehensive scope of functions, consistent release capabilities, and integration of future orientated technologies.

Adding to its continuous development of further innovative functions on a modern IT platform, the FIEGE Group now has a warehouse management system that will provide them with the maximum flexibility for the coordinated process control in order handling. The first joint project between FIEGE and PSI Logistics GmbH is currently taking place in a new, major distribution centre operated by FIEGE for a customer at a site in Burgwedel, Germany.

PSIwms is a warehouse management system that creates transparent and efficient warehouse processes. It is suitable for both small and large and complex warehouses and it can also be used in a production related warehouse such as a dispatch warehouse or a distribution centre. The system provides other specific additional functions, on top of the existing ones, including adaptive scenario management, archive, billing, control mobile, image capture, localisation, stocklist management, time slot control, and many more.

The FIEGE Group is one of the leading logistics companies in Europe with its headquarters in Greven, Westphalia, Germany. It is a specialist in efficient logistics solutions, with more than 12,000 employees at 178 sites in 15 countries.
