Autosupplies Chesterfield, the motor factor has had a great finish to 2017 after they have been awarded the Car Distributor of Excellence as a part of the IAAF Annual Award Ceremony 2017. This highly respected awards scheme is decided directly by aftermarket professionals and IAAF members, who voted for their preferred distributor.
The title of Car Distributor of Excellence has been gained by Autosupplies following a series of other industry wins, including the Factor Branch/ Team of the Year award at the Car & Accessory Trader Awards 2017, or CAT Awards. The company has also experienced a significant level of expansion after the purchase of the Barnsley-based motor factor, Butlers Automotive. The company has also grown their head office, which is located in Bolsover and now occupies a 40,000 s. Ft. site. The company have the aim of becoming one of the largest single branch motor factors in the UK.
Autosupplies employs more than 90 members of staff and also manages a fleet of more than 50 delivery vehicles. The company is already known for being one of the largest distributors in the UK, and were at the IAAF Annual Award ceremony, held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Milton Keynes on the 7th December to receive their award in front of around 600 guests, all there to celebrate the excellence and achievements of the industry over the course of 2017. This award is particularly special for the company as it is voted for by aftermarket professionals and IAAF members, who have to select their preferred distributor and rate the company against the range of criteria that can be found on the IAAF website.
Commenting on the success of the company at these awards and over the course of this year David Clark, the Autosupplies Managing Director said that they were delighted to accept the award as a reflection of the hard work and investment that is continually put in to the development of the company. The award finishes off the business’ most successful year to date and hopefully will be a great foundation for the same level of success in 2018.
