Carrier Transicold Northern Ireland has been named at the Carrier Transicold UK’s Network Service Partner of the Year 2017. The service partner excelled and took first place for the Performance Assessment and Competitive Excellence awards.

Carrier Transicold operated in the UK as Carrier Transicold (UK) Limited and is a part of the Climate, Controls & Security, which is a unit of United Technologies Corp. It is a prestigious accolade for Carrier Transicold Northern Ireland to with this award as part of the Performance Assessment and Competitive Excellence, or PACE awards. The win is made even sweeter as it is the first time Carrier Transicold Northern Ireland has won the award in the PACE award scheme’s nine-year history.

The Northern Ireland division of the temperature controlled cargo transportation business managed to jump up four places from last year’s result in order to take the top spot. As part of the Carrier Transicold UK’s Network Service Partner of the Year award, 29 key performance indicators, or KPIs, are considered across 39 different service standards. The judges as part of this awards scheme look into a range of different areas of the network service partners’ operations. These areas could include breakdown response times and spare parts availability as well as planned maintenance completion figures.

Carrier Transicold Northern Ireland has demonstrated consistent improvement over the years, steadily working its way up the table as a reflection of the service partner’s focus on delivering high levels of customer service. Over the course of the last year alone the Northern Ireland division of the company increased their score by 13%, an amazing result, especially because the KPIs are monitored in real time.

The Stockton-on-Tees based Carrier Transicold came second in this award, and Carrier Transicold Glasgow placed third. Both these runners up were awarded with Premier Service Partner status.
