Wincanton has recently placed the largest order they’ve ever made for Renault Trucks Range T tractor units. The business has decided to alter their vehicles in an attempt to create a safer and more reliable fleet. This new order has been funded by Renault Trucks Financial Services and the vehicles will be available to Wincanton as part of a three year operating lease and the vehicles will be maintained by Pullman Fleet. The fleet manager of these new vehicles, Pullman is a part of the Wincanton Group. Wincanton is known for being the largest British logistics firm and has worked in the past with a number of different well known brands.

The new order of Renault Range T tractor units will be utilised across Wincanton’s contracts. The units will be attached on to the Wincanton’s trailer line up which is also new. Wincanton carry out a number of different contracts across the construction and the haulage industries. Wincanton has been Range T’s as part of their older fleet and they have said that they managed to work efficiently while also being cost effective in terms of fuel economy.

The order by Wincanton includes 100 6×2 vehicles, made up by 75 11-litre T460s as well as 25 13-litre T480s. All of the new vehicles that have been ordered by the logistics company will have the Wincanton branding on them. The new order of Renault Range T units are a part of the businesses plans to expand, therefore investing in a range of vehicles that have been designed in order to be fuel efficient as well as having a range of cutting edge technologies that make the vehicles safer and more efficient. It is thought that the new Range T units will improve the efficiency levels of the company. The new order of vehicles have been put into service at Wincanton since last month.
